*do not try this at home*

*
A quickie, until i feel better, which MUST be tonight because tomorrow will be simply crazy.
.
Ahem, just a warning kids... DO NOT eat a whole package of Chinese marshmallows while drinking dark beer at 3 am. It feels like Brazil and China have gone to war in my stomach. Not a pleasant sensation, so don't try it at home unless you are desperate for feeling sick. Now, who wants to feel sick anyways?
Work yesterday was near unbearable. Still, i managed to teach Past Perfect and Modal verbs in between trips to the ladies room.
.
The last couple weeks have been quite eventful, even though i remember very little without my faithful sidekick, aka notepad. The farthest i can remember is singing class on Friday and finding some awesome vintage speakers in a second hand store... So lets talk about things to come, for the moment.
.
Tomorrow i rehearse for SPFW. It still hasn't kicked in that i will do one of the openings of the biggest fashion event in Brazil (along with a bunch of other cool people with style). Honestly, i'm clueless as of what i'm gonna do there. But i'm gonna be there, and wearing something i made, so its good enough for me.
.
And tomorrow night, i perform, for the first time in 3 months. This will be interesting.
.
So it will be a looooong day. i must get started on dying my hair and stuff, but i feel nasty. Argh. And the 7 year old will be here all day, so i won't be going to the BBQ at Luminati's place. Bummer. i really wanted to go. Argh, children.
.
Also, i get new ink next Saturday. Yay! Just a tip, its part of this picture. I've been in love with this picture since i was 13... its the front of a Japanese postcard.

Don't forget about this! I'm expecting ya'all there!
.
A couple photos by Fernando Flambart. You can see the whole shoot at his website.

Have a yummy meal for me and enjoy Sunday.
mood: sick and hungry (even the smell of food makes me sick). And lonely. and depressed. meh.
now playing: i got the sun in the morning - Doris Day (though i prefer it in Betty Hutton's voice)

Solid!

P.s.: did i mention i got a diagnosis, finally? So, i did... turns out i got Baker's Cyst(s) on both my knees and bursitis on my hips... both common dance related injuries...
.
But i'm going back to dancing in August. It should be safe by then...
